Charlton Heston, Free At Last

Another great one has slipped the surly bonds of Earth...

For most, he'll always be remembered as Moses, but this is the way I'll remember him:

May he rest in peace.

Requiescat in pace. You'll be missed.

And Best. Loincloth. Ever.

He's gone to the Great Soylent Factory In The Sky. And you know whoever get that particular batch of Soylent is going to have one mean, stringy, tough bit of chewing on their hands. *lol*

Of course, the NRA is going to collapse now, too, damnit.

Hmmm. I was just thinking, "Lucky Mrs. Heston!" Well, at least 64 years' worth of lucky. That's doing ok in my book!

For those who may not remember:

"when you say something that isn't true ... it's a mistake. When you say something you know is untrue it's lie ... "

There's more to it than that, and my memory isn't totally intact anymore. I do remember however Mr. Heston said that regarding Mr. Clinton. This quote I'm certain of:

"From my cold, dead, hands..."

You will be sorely missed Chuck, I hope we can find someone to fill one of your shoes.
