Spring Fever

nature-wraith
pale from winter's
wandering
in closed corridors
secure from
early budding spores
secluded and sniffling
awaiting the freedom
of a well-borne breeze
and warm insinuations
from the Yucatan
yucca-tan-shades
of summer
whisper in the
faint hope of
spring

Very nice! It is so strange to think of you there thawing out while here it has been perpetual spring since December! And us so much further north!

Balancing wistful and woeful is tricky, but I think you've pulled it off here.
