A Law, If You Can Enforce It

Dear Obama: make me.

*****

It's your civic duty to make it as difficult as possible for the government to enforce this travesty. Non-cooperation must be in Solidarity.

the looters celebrated last night. they think that cutting open the jugular vein so that more bloodsuckers can feed off this beast, will mean their party lasting longer. they celebrated their own deaths.

Again, this is not how I planned to spend my golden years- but I'm in.
That "for the children" thing works both ways, you know. And I love mine, and theirs, more than life itself.

Yell it from the rooftops, Joan!

And call your governors, urge them to get in on the state lawsuits fighting this atrocity.

Just don't get hit by the 'sound of inevitability' that's coming down the tracks, Joan: national bankruptcy. Funny - how preparing for the eventual 9+ Cascadia earthquake helps one prepare for the coming national train wreck. ~Jimmy

We have only just begun to fight!

I'm just sick. Sick to my stomach. And PISSED!

Hubby said months ago that we will NOT comply. But how in the hell do we not? We have a 6 month old and I need medications for bipolar disorder. And they're using the IRS to force either compliance or a fine. WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GOING TO DO!?!?!?!?! =(

My stomach hurts.

If this thing was passed by a simple majority, a simple majority should also be needed to repeal it, correct? That's probably naive, but it seems logical.

The legal fight will be on, but in all honesty, I don't expect much.

But take heart, all of your efforts held this pos off for over a year.
You should be proud.

I've been having the same revolting dream all day.
Doctor Joan... what's wrong with me?

There is more than one way to refuse to chain oneself.

There are a few "Repeal the Bill" movements starting up.

That's not enough - we need to "Repeal the President" and the apparatchick Congress that rammed this thing gown our throats.

We can fight on two fronts: first, through the ballot box come November. Make sure that anyone who didn't vote NO on this gets sent packing. That's not going to be easy, given the millions of happy voters who think they're getting pie in the sky right away.

Second, through the tactics the Left has been using for years: get a copy of Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals". Learn how to throw monkey wrenches into the slow-grinding wheels of government. Organize. Alinsky was a master of that, and his pupil Obama learned the game as well as Alinsky. (For example, take a look at the numbers on Obama's Facebook.)

It's going to be even more of an uphill battle than it's been - but the choice is either to go gentle into that new socialist worker's paradise, or rage, rage against the dying of the light.

I've posted this elsewhere, but I'll sum it up here as well. What we have to work with is the Republican Party. Period. Don't like the republicans? Tough. Shit. Hold your nose and get on board. There is one road into Washington and it has two lanes. We can see where the left lane has taken us. The Donks are the enemy. Period. They have shown themselves to be the craven lying leftist scum that they are. They must be slashed and burned from the political landscape- pulled out like so many noxious weeds, and left to rot with the ghetto trash, and limousine liberals they serve. No third party can accomplish this. No protest march can accomplish this. No annoying acts of civil disobedience, satisfying as they may be, can accomplish this. The Donks can be routed only through the electoral process. They need to have the term "grass roots" redefined for them. We need to make them fear the grass roots like a vampire fears a crucifix.
There is a lot to dislike about the Republican Party. But political parties are made up of, and respond to the people who get involved in them. That needs to be us.

wv: hunabl You got it. Elephants and all.
