One of the first few pics just made me gasp! It's heartbreaking and inspiring, however to see this compilation:

Good people down there. They built it before and they will quickly rebuild their lives. This segment, more than anything else, is inspiring.

I spend a lot of time in Nashville, including stays at the Gaylord Opryland hotel shown in the last few moment of this video. What I see here and read in the Tennessean every day is mind boggling. Don't worry, though - Al Gore doesn't seem to be.

This proves once and for all that God hates country music. Ha!

Seriously though, BRAVO NASHVILLE!!I come from an area in Kentucky that would get flooded, once horribly so and WE HANDLED IT with NO LOOTING- just like Nashville, who aren't sitting around crying for the government to come save them.

I was born and raised in Nashville. Nashville is home...HOME. I go back at least 10 times a year.

I've been in contact with my boys and girls (friends) since it started raining...it is much worse than you can imagine. It has basically changed the way they live day-to-day. Major problems...

I grew up on the Cumberland. Nashville is a River City...my friend Anjin, has turtles and snakes in his front yard. No shit!

It's bad...

Guess that's what happens when you don't have a Nagin strumming the harp.

Seriously, Joan, I had no idea it was this bad. Where's the liberal outrage and political blame game?

What a HUGE difference from New Orleans. Instead of cryin' "why me?" and looting, these folks are helping each other.

No victim mentality in Tennesee.
God bless them.
