Who Knew That Ag Commissioner of Alabama Was Worth This Sort of Awesome?

Damn!! That was all I could say after watching this "take no prisoners" political ad. Just see for yourself. Crank up the sound for full body impact:

May his kind increase!

Update for the trigger-happy in the comments.

Yep.
Gun? Check.
Horse? Check.
Attitude? Check.

It's like John Wayne has reincarnated.

Almost perfect. He should take his finger off the trigger.

From the comments at Hot Air:

For all of you city folks obviously ignorant of the stock Winchester (which was my first rifle), a few lessons:

1) The weapon is NOT in cocked state; the hammer is not back. So, if there’s a round chambered, it’s already been fired. His trigger displine is fine for those who know the weapon.

2) You can pull the trigger all day long, but you get no bang unless you also squeeze on the cocking lever against the stock. There’s a spring-loaded safety under it.

Hot damn! I live in Alabama and get the chance to vote for John Wayne...err, Mr. Peterson!

I'm gonna vote for him even though I'll have to cross at least one state line to do it.
Hot damn I'll bet the liberal media is spinning around on their eyebrows.

My, that was toothy.

He could have used a better editor, Joan. It struck me as little sharp.

Excellent message, rough delivery.

I like the sharp - sick to damn death of the "handled" polish. TIme for some REAL - Maybe I need to move in with Mrs Who for a little sos I can vote me some Bama real man!

We also have 'Young Boozer' running for state treasurer. Seriously. That is is name.

And Patti, if you don't mind (currently) three teens, two dogs, a cat, oil spills, and hurricanes...you're welcome to move in!

Yep. The cutting edge of politics can be pretty sharp.

Or blunt. . .

Reminds me of someone from the Founding period. OK, the hat isn't right, but still. Feisty! I like him.

Joan, did you see the miniseries "John Adams"? Just wondering. I really liked it. I like all that Founding period stuff, though. Reminds me that people were once ANGRY and being ANGRY wasn't labeled (for political purposes) being "partisan" or "against progress" or whatever the hell BS like we do now. Different views SHOULD be sharply drawn. Especially in a dumbed-down world like this one.

I liked the tarring and feathering scenes in that!

Iron sharpens iron. Anything less produces what we have today: milquetoast men and shrieking women.

I think the important question not being asked here is: Is that fine man married, and if not, can someone please give him my number?
